Pink tail?! Pintail~!!

Yaaaaaay! I was counting down until today! Yes, it's June 17th!! Love UPS, thank you SO much for delivering this beautiful skateboard "Pintail" baby! I am Psyched! Feeling like today is either my Birthday or Christmas, or both at the same timeeee ;P

Loaded Board is made of bamboo so it's very light+flexible and you feel like surfing or flying even! ;D Viva Loaded!! You guys are super duper Awesome!!

And you are right! Of course I chose the hot pink wheels!! Wow, this is really shockingly pink! :P
Now what kind of design should I make with the super pink grip tape...how about the backside...?! ideas, ideas, ideas.....!!!

Anthony Burrill is a funny guy. I am saying that with big respect! ;D For him, being witty just comes naturally. Not-so-funny-director making a comedy movie could be a tough project, but for a funny man making a comedy should be super easy, right?!

I attended Anthony Burrill's Small Talk at AIGA, a well-coordinated + delicious event! ;D It was very intriguing to hear how he was using a moveable type printing press and Zerox for Cut+Paste in his early career. Those works almost looked more modern. Always inspiring to hear how big artists became big!
The event took place at Bumble & Bumble in Meatpacking District. Very fun place to be in. They have various funky hair cut pictures all around, creative design books in the library where you could spend hours. I knew their products, green seaweed shampoo and conditioner because of the gym I used to go to; David Barton Gym uses their products and I liked them :)
So today, it's all about humor! Another humorous + fabulous illustrator? Yes! You are right! Peter Arkle! He is the one who has been making us laugh through Bumble & Bumble ads like this one ;)
